TV update

Now the tivo receiver is turning itself off an on. Just called Direct TV for the 3rd time in 3 days, and they told me I had to clear everything off the receiver and wait to see if that works for 24 hours!!! before they will send me out a new receiver.

24 hours with no TV, after days of tivo not working. Does this seem ridiculous to anyone else?
