It's here, the 5 minutes for Mom blog party. And I am sooo excited, no one likes a good party like me. Just in time for the party, I have updated my about me page to include 20 things (instead of 100 things).
So pour yourself whatever kind of beverage you would like, grab some snacks and stay a while.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm Jodi, mom to Michael (almost two), wife to Doug (35, if it matters), owner of Foster (6, and a dog), and part-time attorney in child abuse. And this is my party site. I love wine, musicals, knitting, reading, and bad tv.
If you are joining me for the first time through the party site, thanks for coming and I'm so glad you stopped by. If you are one of my "regulars," pull up a chair and kick your shoes off. We are casual around here.
So, what is this blog party thingie? An excuse to mingle, meet other bloggers, WIN PRIZES, and have fun. Here's the point, go here and sign the Mr. Linky. Once you are signed in, and write a blog post inviting others to the party, you are eligible to win very cool prizes. I have entered these, hand knitted by little ole' me, I promise, and they are almost done. I will post a picture as soon as they are.

Thanks for the great welcome! And I'm so glad you're "casual" around here. We just had 20 inches of snow in the last 24 hours and we are housebound! My 9th grade son is blissfully sleeping in on this school-closed day...and I am party hopping in my robe and p.j.'s! But should you "hop" on over to my party....there will be no photos of this early morning "hop!" I'm casual too...but not crazy! So hop on over when you get the chance!

It's good to know I'm not the only one who can't read or watch t.v. and knit at the same time. I seriously think some of these people who have been knitting a long time could do it with one hand. It's disgusting. Love your profile.

I enjoyed learning about you in the 20 things about you.
When my son was young - until he was three - I considered only having him. It was very frustrating that everyone bugged me about it. I finally gave in (my son and husband were desperate for another) and started trying to have another when he was three. It has been two difficult years of trying, but I am now early in a pregnancy. Lets hope this one sticks! But good for you for doing what you feel is best for you and your family!!!!

I love your party!! I also love musicals. My DH took me to NYC at Christmas and surprised me with three of them including WICKED...which was absolutely amazing. Come on by my party when you can. I hope to get back soon.
