It's time for Things I like part 3.
And I'm going to do something revolutionary, I'm going to go through and list ALL of my tivo season passes. Now I won't list Doug's or Michael's (yes, we tivo shows for Michael, shut up).
In the past I have mentioned I have terrible taste in television. And I do. And I watch a lot of it. So, read and weep. And feel free to leave in the comments what you think this says about me, besides that I am a TV loving lunatic.
In order-
1. General Hospital-my mom watched this from the first day it was ever on and watched it throughout my whole childhood. It's my 40 minutes to myself, everyday.
2. Grey's Anatomy-who doesn't love this show?
3. Heroes-one of the few shoes Doug and I watch together.
4. Gilmore Girls-I know it went off the air, but I can't bear to delete the season pass. It's like admitting it. I kept the season pass to Sex and the City long after it was gone, and Friends too. I get very attached to my television.
5. Friday Night Lights-best show on television right now. Hands down.
6. 24-the other show Doug and I watch together. Ironically, on opposite Hero's. I didn't like this season that much though.
7. Desperate Housewives-I am the only person left on the planet still watching this. It's not very good, but I'm loyal to my Season Passes. I just "watch" it while I'm doing something else, like blogging.
8. Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List-she is fucking laugh out loud, hysterical. I can't wait for this to start up again.
9. American Idol-I hated this season. This one might be going away.
10. The Showbiz Show with David Spade-soo funny.
11. Best Week Ever-a good thing to watch during Michael's weekend I'm not napping naps. But really, kind of dumb.
12.Brother and Sisters-I got into this late but really like it. I'm excited to catch up on the shows I missed over the summer.
13. The Daily Show-there is nothing to say, he's a G-d.
14. The Colbert Report-see above.
15. Tori and Dean: Inn Love-I'm pitiful, but this is a riot.
16. Traveler-really liked the Pilot, good summer series. I'm hoping I can convince Doug to start watching it with me.
17. Studio 60-Why bother? I started, why not finish.
18. The Starter Wife-loved the book. USA is doing a miniseries.
19. Reunited: Real World Vegas-Ok, stop laughing. No, I mean it.
I dare anyone to open up your heart and soul and tivo and bare all like I just did. I might as well just have put up a naked picture of myself. (OK, maybe not.) In fact, I should start a new meme, what's on your tivo?
So, what am I missing, what should I be watching?

LOL... Seriously we might just watch the same exact things... Actually your TIVO list is almost identical to Wayne's... Except of course he doesn't watch General Hospital, I do:-) But he loves Friday night lights, Hero's, etc etc.... This makes me laugh because I thought I was the only person to watch Tori & Dean, and reunited on MTV!
I didn't know anyone else was watching Tori & Dean either. HA! Also I'm a big fan of Brothers & Sisters. I might just take your Tivo Challenge, embarrassing as it might be, especially because I think I have 30 shows on my season pass list.
You already know that I don't have cable and don't watch much TV, but we all admit across the board TV is a guilty pleasure that not necessarily relates to our inner desires, but more so to our willing to have a good laugh and relax without our brains attached--so no hard feelings at all.
1. I don't like Grey's Anatomy.
2. I know one of the head writers on Brothers & Sisters
3. I've only seen one episode of American Idol in all its seasons (so I rarely know what people are talking about)
4. If I could have cable I'd watch Stewart and Colbert
5. My husband directed (several times) and was fantatic friends with Colbert back in the 1980's and 1990's. So this engrages us that we can't be in on the Colbert Report.
Why is it that woman always pick up on the "soap opera their mother watched"? I did the same thing with All My Children, but I couldn't take it anymore. And hey, I watched the Pussy Cat Dolls show and didn't even know who they were to begin with when my husband and I started watching the show.
I took your challenge. Now I know I watch too many shows. Before... I didn't count... I just assumed.

The wonderful almighty Tivo!!! My list is far to long and now that I know that fact I am a tad embarrassed. But at the top is Sopranos, Entourage, Brothers and Sisters, and The Tudors... There are so so so many more.
What in the world did we do without Tivo before there was such a thing?
Seriously, this is the TiVo list in our house:
1. Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman
2. Postcards with Buster
3. The Riches
4. Curious George
5. Fireman Sam
6. Brum
And the even sadder thing? I've stopped watching the lone grown-up show (#3). And I actually like Fetch! and Postcards.
I'm just one of the few people on the planet who isn't a t.v. person. And I've never, ever seen an episode of Sex in the City, Gilmore Girls or Desperate Housewives. Do you still like me?
Tivo doesn't exist here, or any form of it just yet.
And, like SMID, I am not much of a TV watcher.
Though I do have to say the new way of watching television by being able to sit down to an entire season all at once, via DVD, is kinda cool.
Makes the whole 24 hours of 24 go by so much faster! We did that once.
I grew up with my mom watching "general hospital" too!
I'm also a GH watcher. My mom watched it when I was growing up too! I remember in 4th grade when I had tubes put in my ears because it was the day of Luke and Laura's first wedding. I was so excited. Also, Real World and Road Rules is also a guilty pleasure, especially the challenges.
You need to add So You Think You Can Dance. I loved it last year.
